Farina is proud to present the new bending system E3 Challenger.This system opens a new way of work to bend, easily and fast, big quantities of “small” dimensions products.

IRON BASE: where all the other components are fixed, thought to make an easy and fast transport and easy load/unload operations from trucks. This part is composed by welded and fixed iron profiles covered by an iron plate to guarantee stability and to avoid vibrations. On the floor of the base 4 detachable rings are present to allow an easy lifting of the system using belts. The dimension of the base are:

ELECTRIC PRESS BRAKE E3: a full electric press brake powered by GEFanuc motors and drivers. This kind of machine guarantees a 0,01 mm of precision on the axis movement. The machine is also Ecological (no oil), Efficient (high speed and high precision) and Economic (low maintenance). Following some specifications:

In the first one the user can:

• Edit numeric and graphic programs
• Simulate and manage bending sequence
• Manage beam, bed, intermediaries

In the second is possible to:
• Manage machine parameters and axes parameters
• Execute automatic programs and edit automatic programs
• Move manually all the axes
ROBOT PROGRAMMING: BEND TOOL
Off-line programming of the Fanuc robot.
Working mode: This new product helps the user during the “teaching” phase. It compiles all the program to move the robot, choose the right macros for all the steps of the bending sequence. Bend tool saves the robot program after the teaching phase.
The user can define the tools of the system working on tools libraries.
Starting form a dxf file of the “unbended” product Bend tool allow to define the bending sequence and the main movement of the robot to realise it.
In these movements is possible to manage: release mode of the part, outing of the robot from the press brake, pinching mode and other finctions.
At the end is possible to generate the robot program to send to the robot CN. The passage can be done by memory card or by LAN.
CENTRING DEVICE to centre with gravity the products. The dimensions for this components is to be defined according with the customers requests and production.
SAFETY REPAIRS: a system of walls (grids) to close the working area composed by different panel with 2 doors equipped with emergency buttons. The walls can be disassembled to increase the working area protecting the system with optical safeties (class 4).

The “Challenger” is able to create an automatic bending process programming the machine from one only unit.
